This is a great opportunity for a Furniture Upholsterer with experience repairing and assembling furniture, to become a vital part of a successful company. This person will have a passion for providing a high level of face-to-face customer service.

It imports directly from some of the largest and most respected manufacturers globally. In excess of 4,000 containers annually are brought to Australia by Nick Scali.

We are looking for an experienced On Road Furniture Upholsterer with solid industry experience dealing with a variety of repairs, restoration techniques and reporting of the outcomes of the service calls. The successful candidate will attend to service calls and provide a high level of face-to-face customer service.

You'll be joining our customer service team as a service Furniture Upholsterer on the road. A manual driver’s license and a "can do" and pro-active attitude are a must.
In your role you will be responsible for:
§ Attending to customer's homes to inspect/repair furniture and ability to service the greater Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast area
§ Providing a high level of customer service
§ Upholstery - cut, sew, repad, repair and upholster
§ Repairs and touch ups
§ Hand polishing and colouring
§ Reporting the outcomes of the service calls
To achieve success in this role you will need:
§ Proven experience in a similar role
§ A valid manual drivers license
§ To have excellent verbal and written
§ To be a motivated self-starter with an eye for detail that is able to work with minimal supervision
§ Good communication skills
§ Excellent time management and organisational skills
§ To be well presented
§ Knowledge of fixing recliners, restitching, zippers and frame reinforcement is an advantage
