Accounts Clerk at Nick Scali Limited
Nick Scali is looking for a motivated and efficient full-time Accounts Clerk with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable Experience
Nick Scali Furniture was established over 50 years ago and is now one of Australia's largest importers of quality furniture. Nick Scali sources its products from around the world. It imports directly from some of the largest and most respected manufacturers globally. In excess of 4,000 containers annually are brought to Australia by Nick Scali.
An exciting opportunity for an experience Accounts Clerk has become available in our Head Office in Lidcombe and within a busy and fast paced Finance team.
Sitting in a finance team and reporting into the Financial Controller, as the Accounts Clerk you will have ownership of your own ledger of accounts.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing overseas and local payments
Reconciling the debtors and creditors ledger
Processing Credit note
Posting journals into the system
Other accounts related duties as required
The successful applicant will have experience in a growing business, as well as:
Good all round accounts experience
Be able to liaise professionally with creditors and customers
Be able to work as a team and have a flexible approach to work
Meet tight deadlines and accomplish tasks within a designated timeframe
Hard working and reliability
Flexible with work type and working hours
High level problem solving capabilities
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/Outlook) and be able to quickly learn industry specific software
Knowledge of the furniture retail industry is also advantageous but not essential.
The successful applicant will have a good understanding and experience of the overall business, and be able to use that knowledge to help improve processes in both their role and the Company.
