This is a fantastic role for a Forklift Operator looking for a long-term stable opportunity. Based at our Wiri Distribution Centre, this is a full-time role. Guaranteed a minimum 40 Hours a week Monday to Friday. 

What you will need: 

• 1 year of work experience as a Forklift Operator.
• Sound knowledge of ML WMS System is necessary.

What you will be doing: 

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move Furniture, Lounges & Mattresses throughout the facility.
• Transport orders to designated storage areas, ensuring proper placement and organization to facilitate easy retrieval.
• Stack and store merchandise in designated areas, ensuring that inventory is organized and easily accessible.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill and prepare orders, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
• Perform routine pre- and post-operational inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times, including proper handling of furniture items, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and awareness of surrounding environment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Service and perform minor repairs and adjustments to forklifts as needed to maintain optimal functionality.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, including removing debris and obstructions from aisles and storage areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and address any concerns or issues as they arise.
